Buckeyes Annihilate Presbyterian

After getting out rebounded 32-22 last game to Coppin State – with starting 7 foot center Kosta Koufous not even getting a rebound – Kosta Koufous and the Ohio State Buckeyes bounced back after struggling last game in a 47-39 win against Coppin State by taking it out on Presbyterian Saturday afternoon at Value City Arena in front of 16,569 fans.

Kosta Koufous scored 21 points and Jamar Butler added 16 points and dished out 8 assists and Ohio State never looked back as they annihilated Presbyterian 87-43.

The Buckeyes shot a remarkable 71% from the field making 35-of-49 shots, including 10-of-15 for 67% from the 3 point line, while Presbyterian only shot 34% making 15-of-44 shots and 11-of-32 for 34% from the 3 point line.

This game Ohio State was all over the boards, with Othello Hunter and David Lighty leading the team with 5 rebounds each. Ohio State grabbed 30 rebounds total and out rebounded Presbyterian who only got 14 rebounds.

Ohio State improved to 6-3 and Presbyterian dropped to 1-11. Ohio State takes on Cleveland State @ Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland Tuesday night at 7 PM.
